Unity Communications employed 300 professionals at its headquarters in the Philippines as of July 2024, marking a critical milestone for the award-winning international business process outsourcing (BPO) company.

The expansion came more than a year after the launch of its new office at the Harton Corporate Center in Aseana City, Parañaque, an extension of its main facility in Bacoor, Cavite.

The Harton site has a 200-seater capacity that gives workers based in Metro Manila easy access to a comfortable and safe working environment during on-site days. The prime location is also within walking distance of major malls, food establishments, retail complexes, and convenience stores, encouraging Unity staff to accomplish on-site tasks more quickly and cost-efficiently.

Culture as the key to success

The rapid growth of the Southeast Asian branch is a testament to Unity’s strong corporate culture and people-centric strategies. The BPO company continuously implements comprehensive workforce engagement programs, career development opportunities, and competitive benefits packages to maintain high employee satisfaction and retention rates.

Because of these advantages, Unity Communications has gained an employee rating of 4.9 out of 5 stars on Glassdoor. The service provider has also received its Great Place to Work Certification for July 2024 to July 2025. The accolades indicate that most employees have exemplary working experience in the company.

Established in 2009, Unity Communications employs 500 to 1,000 people at its sites in the United States, the Philippines, and Mexico. The BPO provider specializes in customer service, sales support, accounting, healthcare, and back-office services. Its expertise covers multiple industries such as e-commerce, retail, financial technology (fintech), and software as a service (SaaS).

Moving forward, the BPO firm intends to broaden its Filipino workforce further via a series of internal and external hiring sprees. With its strategic location and talented workforce, Unity’s Philippine office is poised to play an even more crucial role in spearheading its continued success while offering a “white glove” experience to Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, and mid-sized enterprises.
